Most clients begin with weekly sessions, which allows for consistency and momentum early in the therapeutic process. As you make progress, the frequency may naturally shift to biweekly or monthly — always guided by your needs and goals, not a fixed timeline. There's no predetermined endpoint. Therapy moves at the pace that feels safe and sustainable for you.

Q: How long does a session last?

Individual and couples sessions are typically 50 minutes. This is a standard clinical hour and gives your therapist time to prepare notes and thoughtfully transition between clients — which ultimately supports the quality of your care.

Q: Do you accept insurance?

We accept some insurance plans as well as private pay. We encourage you to contact us directly to confirm whether your specific plan is accepted, as coverage varies. If you're paying out of pocket, we're happy to discuss fees and options during your free consultation. We believe quality care should be accessible — reach out and let's talk about what works for you.

Q: What happens at my first appointment?

Your first session is an intake — a chance for your therapist to get to know you, understand what's brought you in, and begin to get a sense of your history, patterns, and goals. You'll also have plenty of space to ask questions and get a feel for the relationship. You won't be expected to share everything at once. The pace is yours to set. Most people leave their first session feeling a sense of relief just from having been heard clearly.

Q: Who do you work with?

We work with adults (18+) seeking individual therapy and couples. Our clients come from all walks of life — what they tend to have in common is a genuine desire for lasting change, not just symptom relief. We work with people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity questions, grief, and more.
