Session Fees

All fees are due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. Service fees are subject to change with notice. A free 15-minute consultation is available before your first appointment.

Legal and advocacy-related services are billed separately from session fees and invoiced at the rates below. Please discuss any legal service needs with your clinician in advance.

Court Attendance Minimum

Legal services include but are not limited to: document preparation, coordination with legal parties, treatment summaries, court reports, and court attendance. A minimum of 4 hours is charged for court attendance regardless of actual time required.

01 - Insurance Information

Insurance acceptance varies by clinician and is subject to change. Please contact us directly before your first session and we will verify your benefits.

02 - Payment Methods

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and select HSA and FSA plans.

03 - No Surprises Act & Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act you have the right to a written Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before beginning services. We provide this to every client — because transparency is part of how we care for you.

04 - Out of Network & Superbills

If we are out-of-network for your plan we can provide a superbill — an itemized receipt you submit directly to your insurer for potential reimbursement. Contact your insurance provider to understand your out-of-network benefits before your first session.

FINANCIAL ACCESSIBILITY

Sliding Scale - Green Bottle Method

We are committed to making care accessible while sustaining our practice. Our sliding scale uses the Green Bottle Method — a transparent, dignity-based system where you self-select the tier that honestly reflects your current financial situation. Sliding scale is available to self-pay clients experiencing financial hardship, and to those with qualifying professional, military, educational, or service backgrounds. Availability is limited and offered at WCCW's discretion.

Tier 1 — Overflowing Bottle

$90 per session.

You comfortably cover all basic needs — housing, food, utilities, transportation, healthcare — and manage some debt responsibly. You have reliable income and some financial savings or planning in place. 

Tier 2 — Half-Full Bottle

$75–$85 per session.

You cover basic needs with some financial stress. Debt exists but doesn't regularly prevent you from meeting essentials. You are employed but extras require planning and real trade-offs. Savings are limited or just beginning.

Tier 3 — Almost Empty Bottle

$65 per session.

Significant financial hardship — limited income for essentials, high stress covering bills, little to no discretionary spending. Examples include unemployment, low-income household, unexpected medical costs, caregiving responsibilities, or reliance on public assistance. Applied case by case based on availability.

ATTENDANCE & CANCELLATION

Attendance Policy

We ask that you give your counselor advance notice when you need to cancel or reschedule. This policy exists out of respect for your clinician's time and for other clients who may need that appointment.

No Call No Show

Missing a scheduled appointment without any prior notice results in a charge of 100% of your session fee.

Example: $95 session → $95 NCNS fee

Late Cancellation

Cancellations made without adequate advance notice result in a charge of 50% of your session fee.

Example: $95 session → $47.50 late cancel fee

Repeated Absences | NCNS

Three or more consecutive no-call, no-show appointments may result in automatic termination of services. Referrals and recommendations will be provided upon termination.
